Small Steps, A Greener Tomorrow

A little care goes a long way. During your stay, these simple habits can help save water:

  • Keep showers short or pause the water while you lather. Turn off the shower while soaping or shampooing, then turn it back on to rinse.

  • Turn off the tap while brushing. Use a cup of water to rinse instead of keeping the tap running.

  • Let us know about leaks. If you notice a dripping tap or a toilet that keeps running, please inform our team so we can attend to it.

ECO STAY BEST PRACTICES

At York Hotel Singapore, we are committed to protecting the environment without compromising the comfort and experience of our guests.

To support our efforts in conserving water, saving energy and reducing the use of natural resources, towels and linens may be reused at guests’ preference. Bed linens are changed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or upon request.

IN-ROOM SMART FILTERED WATER DISPENSER

As part of our ongoing Go-Green efforts, guest rooms are equipped with a smart filtered water dispenser, providing convenient access to hot and room-temperature water throughout your stay.

Fitted with a nano filtration system, the dispenser helps reduce impurities while offering a convenient alternative to single-used bottled water.

CONVENIENT REFILLABLE DISPENSERS

The little details of your stay can make a difference. Our shampoo and shower gel are provided in refillable dispensers, keeping these shower essentials within easy reach.

By refilling and reusing, we help reduce packaging waste, one of the many sustainable ways to create a simple step towards a greener tomorrow without comprising on comfort and convenience.

Protect Your Skin with Reef-Free & Eco-Friendly Skincare

When choosing sunscreen and insect repellent for your trip, consider their impact on the environment, as some ingredients can affect waterways and wildlife.

Where possible, choose alternatives, such as reef-safe and eco-friendly products designed to be gentler on the environment while providing the protection you need.
