For 40 years, York Hotel Singapore has played a part in bringing authentic Penang cuisine to diners in Singapore. This June, we continue that legacy by collaborating with Jason Nyonya House from Penang, Malaysia for an exceptional dining experience at White Rose Café, available as an à la carte buffet from 18 to 28 June 2026.
Helmed by Madam Cheah Soo Fuen, mother of Jason Chan, founder of Jason Nyonya House, her cooking draws on the nuanced flavours of northern Penang Peranakan cuisine, known for its distinct blend of Chinese, Malay and Thai influences.
Among the highlights are Gulai Tumis Ikan Pari, Assam Prawn, and Kari Kapitan, hallmark dishes of Jason Nyonya House. Other comforting dishes include Jiu Hu Char, Otak-otak, Kiam Chye Ark, Buah Keluak Kay, Khong Babi Assam, Tu Kar Chor, Eng Chai Sambal Hae Bee, Nasi Ulam and Nasi Bunga Telang, freshly prepared upon order.
Enhance the experience with the refreshing Chilled Butterfly Pea Flower Tea and Chilled Sirap Bandung with Grass Jelly, alongside a selection of other beverages.
